Arsenal are the ones under the bigger pressure today as West Ham look to dent their title charge once again.

Our Hammers host our London rivals at home today firmly in the knowledge that we have overcome Mikel Artetas side twice already this season.

That being said, it’s expected to be a very tough encounter, with the visitors coming off the back of a big win last weekend over title rivals Liverpool, and they will certainly not want to drop any more points, especially against David Moyes’ side.

The West Ham Way Podcast duo Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee have given their thoughts ahead of the huge encounter at the London Stadium later today.

“It’s a tough game today because Arsenal will know they can’t afford to drop too many more points now – if they are serious about challenging for the title this season,” stated Walker.

“However, we’ve already beaten them twice this season, we’re at home and we have players that can do them damage. It could come down to how well we defend against them today.”

Ex agreed it’s going to be a tough game, however is hoping our Hammers can repeat the excellent display against Arsenal on their home turf.

“Today is an important game for us to get back to winning ways, although obviously a difficult one,” added Ex. “It would be great to complete a hattrick of wins over Arsenal this season and I am sure all the players would love this too.

“I expect it is another game where the opposition will have a lot of possession, but Moyes played the perfect game against them at the Emirates! I really hope he can repeat this today.”
