This week we have a young future star who has been ripping the U17 European Championships playing for Portugal U17.
Jose Gomes also known as “Ze Golo”
He has a really good goalscoring record for Portugal U15 – U17
At Benfica youth level he has done very well also.
Jose Gomes is extremely highly rated and destined to be a future star in years to come.
Scoring 7 goals in 5 appearances with 2 assists so far…..He looks to be exceptional goalscoring wise.
Looks to be very deadly in front of goal.
Has that arrogance in his play combined with ability.
His idol is Thierry Henry so this should be no surprise.
Jose has a great understanding of the game for one so young as a striker.
I feel he has something special and I’m looking forward to seeing him develop over the next few years.
He has all the makings of a complete striker.
Comfortable on the ball, Pacey, strong in the air.
He places his shots relying on his good technique.
His positioning is very good , seems to know where the ball will fall in the box.
If he can keep on progressing I’m sure he will go very far.
He is also currently playing with recently signed West Ham player Domingos Quina, who is also destined for a very bright future. 🙂
