We were delighted to receive our promotional copy of the book and an extra one to give away as a competition prize.   The book is absolutely brilliant and really is a must have to look back at our beautiful home at Upton Park.  I was actually very emotional looking at the pictures.  The book has forewords by friend of the site Sir Trevor Brooking, Karren Brady and another friend of the site Lee Clayton.  There are amazing sections on the fans (featuring Baz and the Ribman), Boleyn Through the Ages, Our Home, Match Day, The Legends of Upton Park and the Final Game.

Here is the blurb for the book:

This stunning photographic collection captures the very heart of Upton Park from award-winning sports photographer Andy Hooper and leading sports journalist Lee Clayton.  This album is a celebration of what it means to be a West Ham United fan and the experiences of supporters visiting the Boleyn throughout its 112-year history.  These behind-the-scenes photographs capture the essence of West Han’s match-date journey from the players in the dressing room through to the atmosphere on the chicken run, which will chime with every Hammer and bring back memories as they enter a new phase in the Club’s story.  These characters, legends and match-day rituals are all captured in this poignant and fitting tribute to Upton Park.

The book is available for a bargain £25 and there will be a signing in the club shop on Sunday.  It will also be available to buy on Amazon.

We are delighted to be able to offer one book to give away as a prize.  Simply subscribe to our YouTube channel , RT the tweet and follow the West Ham Way Twitter Account to stand a chance.
