I very much doubt that this is true. I spoke about the Carroll situation yesterday and I don’t think there is any real truth to it to be honest.

We wanted him last summer, but he didn’t want us. I bet he feels very silly now when you look at how much he has played. I would still be very open to signing him though, as I think he has looked good when he has played for Chelsea. I believe that if we are going to sign any striker, it will be Batshuayi.
