Good afternoon Hammers. Here is today’s lunchtime round up.

Mark Noble has hit back at West Ham fans who have called for him to be dropped. (Sky Sports)

It is very out of character of Mark to hit back, especially at his own fans. I understand his frustrations, but he simply has not been at the same level that he performed at last season. If he can start to perform that way again, then I am sure the criticism will soon stop.

Arsenal striker Lucas Perez is wanted by West Ham this summer. (The Sun)

Another good player that has not been given enough game time at his club. I would take him in the summer, for the right price. However, he is by no means my first choice.

West Ham will battle Liverpool and Everton to sign Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the summer. (Essex Live)

I really want us to sign him. He is a brilliant player who would walk straight into our midfield, and I hope we do everything we can to sign him.

Winston Reid says the West Ham players have been guilty of naivety away from home this season. (Standard)

Admittedly, we have nothing left to play for this season. However, that does not mean that the players can get complacent. There are still points to be played for, and they must keep going until the end.

Michael Owen has accused Cheikhou Kouyate of being lazy. (Ninety Minutes Online)

I do not think Kouyate is lazy, and I think that is an outrageous comment for Owen to make. He is not a right back and he is struggling in that position, but that does not make him lazy.

Danny Gabbidon has criticised two West Ham players, including a January signing. (HITC)

I think its a bold statement to criticise these two. Both are still relatively new to the team and are still finding their feet at the club. I think we will start to really see them shine towards the end of the season and the future.
