Hello Hammers. Here is today’s lunchtime round up.
Slaven Bilic has been told to make wholesale changes to his backroom staff. (Daily Mail)
I completely agree with this. Changes need to made to the backroom staff, because I just do not think they are good enough. It could be a blessing for Slav if this was to happen, and I would get Rio Ferdinand in as a coach especially. I think this will be an interesting story.
Security is set to be beefed up at the London Stadium for the game against Spurs, which has been moved to a Friday night. (Daily Mail)
I think it is absolute madness that the game has been moved to a Friday. I literally could not believe it when I saw the announcement. Its is the biggest derby of the season for us, and it has been moved which is incredibly inconvenient for everyone involved.
Robert Snodgrass says tomorrow’s game against his old club Hull is just another game. (Hull Daily News)
It is not just another game in my opinion. We have to beat Hull tomorrow, and there are no excuses for us not to. Snodgrass and the rest of the team need to massively step up now.
West Ham are considering Huddersfield manager David Wagner as a replacement for Slaven Bilic. (The Telegraph)
I actually think this is a good move. He looks to be a very good manager and has massive potential. I would like to see how he finishes the season with Huddersfield first though.
Harry Redknapp has urged Jermain Defoe to return to West Ham in the summer. (TalkSport)
I think every West Ham fan is now starting to want Defoe back. He is a goalscorer and that is what we need. The fact that former managers and pundits are urging him to join us too also speaks volumes.
Mark Noble is expected to return to the starting XI for tomorrow’s game against Hull. (Daily Star)
This is the perfect game for Noble, and he has to stand up and fight now. He is Mr West Ham and he will be giving his all to lead us to victory tomorrow.
