Spanish international Pablo Fornals is no stranger to the test of facing Sevilla, and is confident that West Ham are up to the test against the high flying La Liga side.

Our Irons were drawn against Sevilla in the last 16 of the Europa League, with the away tie coming first in the round, and Fornals knows how big this is for everyone connected with West Ham United.

“It will be a massive two nights to be a West Ham supporter. I can’t imagine how excited they are going to be and I can’t wait to have 60,000 behind us at London Stadium,” said the Spaniard.

“The fans are with us in Europe, travelling with us when they could and filling out London Stadium and giving us their full support at home.

Fornals has acknowledged that Sevilla are going to be a huge hurdle to overcome, but it’s one our Irons are more than up for the challenge.

“Right now they are second in La Liga,” added Fornals. “They are doing really well and are fighting against Real Madrid to win the league. It’s not going to be easy.

“But we will go there and try to beat them because that’s how we play – we go face-to-face against everyone.”
