West Ham tonight face a rejuvenated Liverpool side at Anfield in what is expected to be a stern test for David Moyes’ Hammers.

After an indifferent start to the season for both sides, West Ham have somewhat turned a corner in recent weeks, having picked up 6 wins and a draw in the last 8 matches in all competitions.

Worryingly though Liverpool too have also picked up recently, having beaten the champions Manchester City at the weekend following a 7-1 thrashing of Rangers in the Champions League.

Our track record at Anfield isn’t a pretty one, with our 3-0 victory there in 2015 the first and last win since 1963, and this is also coupled with Moyes’ away record against the ‘big 6’ which certainly has a lot of room for improvement.

The Hammers boss will need to be creative with his selections today with our back-line in the midst of a mini crisis, with Kurt Zouma (illness) and Angelo Ogbonna (groin) both doubts for tonight. Craig Dawson is ruled out as he is recovering from swelling on his though, although the positive news is that all are short term complaints.

Liverpool too though have their own problems, with Diego Jota, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, Ibrahima Konate, Joel Matip, Luis Diaz and Arthur all ruled out of the match.

Tonights game kicks off at 7:30pm and is being shown live on Amazon Prime.
