West Ham & England winger Jarrod Bowen missed out on featuring in our midweek win over Silkeborg in the Europa Conference League due to injury.

The in-form former Hull man picked up an ankle complaint this week in training and was therefore withdrawn from the squad in the victory to top Group B.

It has now however been reported that the England forward has resumed light training, and is now in fact likely to make the squad to face Manchester United this Sunday.

It will be a huge relief to all connected with the club, especially David Moyes, although the manager had suggested to the press that the injury wasn’t looking overly serious.

Therefore at this stage there is confidence Bowen will be available when we head to Old Trafford on Sunday in a big match as West Ham look to further push up the table with the Red Devils form indifferent this season.

It has also been reported however that Lucas Paqueta is again set to miss out as he recovers from a collarbone injury.

The West Ham Way’s ExWHUEmployee will provide updates on the injury situation on Patreon once details are established.
