West Ham head to Old Trafford today looking to build on an impressive run of form with David Moyes former side looking to dent that.

Moyes’ Hammers have typically struggled to gather a positive result from the so-called ‘big 6’ sides away from home, however many will be hoping a far more positive and proactive approach is put into practice today.

West Ham are likely to be missing both Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta as they recover from injuries, although both expected to return soon.

Craig Dawson could make the squad today following an absence due to a thigh injury. Although Max Cornet is missing again after suffering a setback in his recovery, which could result in him not playing until after the World Cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Maguire and Donny van de Beek are all available for the hosts, but Anthony Martial misses out.

Dave Walker:

“I think we have to have a go at them, be brave, we have enough quality in this side to hurt them so let’s have a go!”

ExWHUEmployee:

“We really need to go out and attack Manchester United from the off and go out with the intent on trying to win the game. Too often we sit back and defend against the big clubs and play the badge and not the form of the team.

“Man United are not the force they once were and are beatable. The beauty of the premier league is that anyone can beat anyone as both Brighton and Leeds showed already yesterday and I hope we are another team with a big result this weekend!”

Todays match kicks off at 4:15pm and is being shown live on Sky Sports.
