West Ham will be looking to get a crucial week a kick start with the visit of Blackburn Rovers in the Carabao Cup tonight.

The Hammers are enduring a difficult period under David Moyes following a poor season so far in the Premier League, with the boss hoping tonight’s fixture can lift the gloomy mood in East London.

Moyes is likely to ring the changes from the side that lost poorly to Crystal Palace at the weekend, with Areola and Aguerd expected to be called into action.

Many will be hoping to see some Academy players and once again given a chance to shine, after their heroics in Romania last week in the Europa Conference League.

The only major doubt for Moyes tonight is Max Cornet, who is still struggling to regain fitness ahead of the World Cup break.

Tonight’s match kicks off 7:45pm and is not being shown live on TV.
