The West Ham Way can report that Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in both Craig Dawson and Michail Antonio, as confirmed by ExWHUEmployee.

Our Hammers head to Molineux this Saturday to face Wolves in a crucial Premier League encounter, with David Moyes looking to build on an improved start to 2023 having drawn with Leeds at Elland Road to then beat Brentford in the FA Cup, also away from home.

The results have injected some much needed optimism however Moyes will be acutely aware that will fall away fast if it cannot be built on this weekend, with Wolves set to provide a stern test as they also look to continue their better form of late.

To add further spice to the already huge encounter, ExWHUEmployee has reported that Wolves have reignited their interest in Craig Dawson, who is looking to move further up north of England due to family reasons.

Furthermore, Ex has confirmed that boss Julen Lopetegui is an admirer of Irons forward Michail Antonio and could look to make a move to acquire his services this January.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, Ex stated that although Antonio is no longer considered a definite starter following the purchase of Gianluca Scamacca this summer, at this stage it is highly unlikely the club would sell to a relegation rival.

“Antonio has been playing second fiddle to Gianluca Sacamacca this year when the Italian is fit,” stated our man-in-the-know. “Wolves could be lining up a move for our all time Premier League goalscorer.

“Moves to sign Youssef En-Nesyri have failed so far, due to his reluctance to move, but it is felt that he would offer a similar positional role to the club as Antonio could.

“West Ham are hesitant to let Dawson go without a ready replacement and the same will definitely be said of Antonio, if the club are prepared to entertain any offers at all, which I believe is unlikely.”
