West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna has called on the club to draw a line and bounce back this week starting with a win on Thursday.

It was a weekend to forget for all connected with the club, following a disastrous showing and result against Brighton, which put another dent in our hunt for Premier League survival.

The season to date has been one most fans are looking forward to seeing the back of, although European football in the Europa Conference League could be the light many are hoping for, along with avoiding the drop.

Ogbonna, who left the field against Brighton although stated it was only precautionary, has now issued a rallying cry as West Ham look to get a positive result in the knockout stages of the Europa Conference League on Thursday night against AEK Larnaca.

“Saturday was a bad day for everyone and disappointing, of course,” admitted the Italian defender to the clubs Official Website.

“But we want to get back. We have another game on Thursday so we have an opportunity to bounce back.

“Every game is important to give us a really good bounce and Thursday is a good chance to do that.”

West Ham face Larnaca followed by a huge Premier League encounter with Aston Villa on Sunday, with our Hammers needing to put in a performance and gain a result to somewhat correct the horror show against the Seagulls.
