West Ham ladies are set to have a ‘shake up’ this summer, revolving around mainly the management, our insider ExWHUEmployee has explained.

ExWHUEmployee has explained on this weeks podcast, that the women’s team are set to have a major overhaul this summer.  Karren Brady was named director of the team in March, alongside Tara Warren and Nicola Keye.  Together the trio have more than sixty years of experience in senior operational roles in professional football, hoping that their knowledge can be positively used.

A poor run of form recently means that West Ham are yet to secure a win in the WSL since December last year.  Ex has stated that he believes the take over will lead to a change around within the groups set up, and possibly even at management level.

Current manager Paul Konchesky was appointed in May 2022 ahead of this season,  but after finishing 6th in the table last year, the hammers have fallen to 8th under their new manager.  There is no doubt that the three ladies are intending to change things up ahead of the next season, but whether this includes Konchesky keeping his job, Ex is still unsure of this.

With the WSL ever growing and teams always evolving, the fans will be hoping that this change around will better their team, with Brady also confirming that she wants to help boost the growth of West Ham’s WSL squad on and off of the pitch.

West Ham have 3 games left of the season, and fans are left wondering if the hammers can keep their spot in the WSL with only 6 points between them an relegation.
