West Ham could move for Arsenal forward with Gianluca Scamacca likely to return to Italy.

It has been a troubling window for the Hammers so far and they remain the only club yet to make a singing so far this window.

They have also lost their star player Declan Rice with a number of first team players rumoured to be heading for the exit.

Aaron Cresswell, Michail Antonio, Lucas Paqueta, Said Benrahma and Gianluca Scamacca have all been linked with moves away from the club.

Italian striker Scamacca has especially been subject to a lot of interest this Summer including Roma and Inter Milan, with the Hammers rejecting deals from both clubs.

Inter however are expected to go in with another bid in the coming days and ExWHUEmployee has exclusively revealed West Ham may be inclined to accept the offer.

“The situation with Gianluca Scamacca remains the same with the club reiterating they only wish to sell if a club pays close to what we have paid for him ourselves.

“Inter Milan look like they could do this and the player would want to go there.”

Should Scamacca leave however, West Ham are eyeing up a move for Folarin Balogun, another striker the Italian giants are after.

“Interestingly their move for Scamacca comes after they decided West Ham target Folarin Balogun was too expensive.

“The player is said to be pleading with Arsenal to lower their demands.

“If they do Inter could move back for the player and Scamacca remains, if that happens West Ham could explore a move for Balogun.”

While David Moyes seems content with his strike force this Summer, a striker has been explored by the club and Scamacca’s desire to return to Italy could force a move.

The £50m rated striker scored 21 goals in Ligue 1 last season and he is on the search for regular first-team football having played just ten times for the Gunners.

The valuation for the 22-year-old American is thought to be too high for the Hammers.

It also is unlikely that Arsenal will give us a discount considering our hardball approach with the Rice transfer.

However a recoup of £30m from the sale of Scamcca, which is thought to be the Hammers bottom line, could allow the transfer to happen.

A lack of Premier League experience will surely be a factor however as to wether we opt to move for the exciting forward.

With thar said, this is certainly a transfer to watch out for in the coming days as West Ham look to make their first signing of the window.
