West Ham are set to shift their approach regarding transfer targets this summer, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

There is no denying there is a significant frustration surrounding the club at present following a so-far underwhelming transfer window, with a confusing approach leaving West Ham without a 1st team signing at present, even though the season is just over a week from commencement.

It appears there has been a differing view when it comes to targets, with David Moyes preferring a more ‘proven Premier League’ route this summer, as apposed to Tim Steidten, who has a list of players who appear to be seen as more of a risk by the West Ham manager.

ExWHUEmployee has reported previously though that this is expected, as Steidten was brought in with a view to table fresh ideas, although the differing of opinions appears to be hampering the clubs progress in the market.

West Ham have seen various bids rejected for a number of targets, although there is understood to be a growing optimism that the situation will change in the coming days.

Ex has now further reported on the situation, advising that the club are now exploring other avenues, namely Steidtens targets, although previous target this summer are likely to be revisited too.

“I have been told that the club will look to visit some of Tim Steidten’s targets and present an alternative picture to Moyes of possible targets,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“This is expected to include the likes of Forfana of Monaco, Zakaria of Juventus and Alvarez of Ajax plus a couple of unreported additional midfielders.”
