West Ham midfielder James Ward-Prowse had missed training recently with a knock, although ExWHUEmployee has provided an update.

The summer signing from his boyhood club Southampton this summer, Ward-Prowse has made an instant impact in East London, by providing 3 assists and a goal in his opening 3 games for the club.

Therefore it’s no surprise that concern was rife amongst all connected with the club with news that our number 7 had picked up an injury in training last week.

Despite it being reported that the injury wasn’t serious, being described as a knock, the player missed training again on Monday prompting fears it could be enough to rule him out this weekends clash against Manchester City.

However our club insider Ex has reported that Ward-Prowse was present at training today, and should be available for selection for David Moyes against the Premier League champions on Saturday.

“We can confirm that James Ward Prowse was back in training today and took part fully,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“This will put to bed any fear that he could miss the Manchester City game, assuming no other injuries are picked up between then.”

In other news, Jesse Lingard was again at training today as he pushes to earn a contract at the club.
