West Ham tonight travel to the borders of Yorkshire to take on Lincoln City in the 3rd Round of the Carabao Cup, with David Moyes expected to ring the changes.

Our Hammers will be looking to get back to winning ways following defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League at the weekend, however Lincoln’s captain Paudie O’Connor has already stated that they hold no fear in taking on Moyes’ side later, as reported by the BBC.

Following our first taste of silverware in 43 years last season by winning the Europa Conference League, West Ham are undoubedly hungry for more, with the league cup a realistic target our club can achieve.

David Moyes though is expected to ring the changes, with james Ward Prowse, Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio expected to be rested for the occasion.

It does however present a great opportunity for Academy stars Joseph Anang, Jacob Knightbridge, Dan Chesters, Ben Johnson, Conor Coventry, Callum Marshall and Divine Mubama – who will all be looking to get some vital minutes under their belts.

The match at LNER Stadium kicks off at 7:45pm and is not being shown live on TV, it is however being broadcast on BBC 5 Sports Extra.
