The West Ham Way Podcast duo Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee give their thoughts ahead of our trip to Brentford later today.

West Ham head to west London off the back of a very good display against Arsenal in midweek, with the hope that that performance and result will give confidence going against the Bees, who are also in good form too,

The defeat to Everton last week adds to the pressure with a recent dip in domestic league form, and David Moyes knows that a result is needed, but it is expected to be a very tough encounter on the west side of London this afternoon.

Our Podcast duo, Dave & Ex, have provided their thoughts ahead of the encounter, with the feeling that the Arsenal win could provide that lift to come away with a good result against Thomas Franks side.

“Big game today to continue the momentum from Wednesday and hopefully get our league form back on track,” stated Ex. “Not the easiest of fixtures this, especially without Alvarez and Paqueta – but if Kudus and Bowen can continue their form we have a good chance.”

“It’s always a tough game and being without some key players doesn’t help,” stated Walker. “But hopefully we can take some confidence and momentum from the Arsenal game and come away with something”
