West Ham are continuing talks with Divin Mubuma over a new deal with both sides wanting a positive outcome, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

The club have been in talks with the Academy graduate for some time, with the hope that the striker will secure his long term future in east London – having joined our Hammers at the age of just 8.

Mubuma has seen his development continue as he’s become more integrated within the first team, however talks to date suggest that the player wants assurances over a route to the first team.

ExWHUEmployee has reported that a recent offer from the club has been rejected by Mubumas camp, which has understandably caused much concern amongst the fanbase.

However our club insider has since advised that talks are ongoing, with both sides hoping a deal can be struck.

“Mubuma talks over a new deal are ongoing,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Podcast earlier this week. “Both parties want a positive conclusion, and although the other was rejected, rejection though of course is common practice as part of negotiations.

“It’s understood that the club have tabled a good financial package, which is in line with the Reece Oxford deal.

“This would also see his wages increase as milestones are met. Mubuma of course was assurances over game time and a clear route to the first team.”

It is hoped that a deal will be struck as talks continue. Ex will keep fans up to date on the progress of the situation.
