West Ham today take on Crystal Palace at the London Stadium, knowing a win would set us up well for Spurs away next week.

Our Hammers, despite maybe not quite hitting the stride in terms of form, have produced the results, and are currently on a run of 4 straight victories.

The visit of Roy Hodgson’s side this afternoon provides a somewhat opportunity for West Ham, with the visitors missing key players in Doucoure and Eze due to injury.

Our Hammers are also hoping to welcome back some players who missed our midweek trip to Serbia in the Europa League, with Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus and Edson Alvarez all hoping to be back amongst the action this afternoon.

Our Podcast co-host and club insider ExWHUEmployee feels that today provides a great opportunity to build on our healthy league position, especially ahead of our fierce London derby against Spurs next week.

“We have a great chance of beating an injury hit palace side today,” stated our man-in-the-know.

“If we can get the win, that sets us up nicely for another London derby against Spurs who again are injury hit – and then Fulham.

“Getting positive results in these games could put us in a very healthy league position.”
