David Moyes has given an indication of the health of his team ahead of our final Group A Europa League match on Thursday night.

Our Hammers currently top the group and are in the knowledge that a draw against Freiburg will be enough to secure our spot in the last 16 of the competition.

Moyes, who has been under the spotlight again this week following West Hams humiliating 5-0 hammering at the hands of Fulham on Sunday, has spoke to the press ahead of the game.

“We’ve had a few people with a bit of illness,” the boss told the press, as reported by the clubs Official Website.

“The scheduling we’ve had has been difficult and there’s not much time available this time of year. Any chance we can give players to have some time to themselves, we’re going to do that.

“We’ve still got a few lingering in terms of the sickness, but I think we’re going to be okay. Team news wise, I think we’re pretty much where we were.”

The manager was also asked about Thilo Kehrer, who some are suggesting could be given an opportunity following the recent poor defensive display at Craven Cottage.

“Thilo is a brilliant boy who works really hard in training. He brings flexibility and he’s hugely important for us with his versatility, added the boss.

“It’s been tough for him because we have some players who have been performing brilliantly defensively, but we know what he can do.”
