West Ham today take on Manchester United knowing a victory would mean a spot in at least 7th on Christmas Day.

Despite the exciting position to be in at this stage of the Premier League season, there is unrest amongst the Irons fans following the capitulation at Liverpool on Wednesday night, where a heavily rotated squad crashed out of the Carabao Cup.

This has resulted in a significant amount of pressure on David Moyes, with many questioning the decision to rotate in the manner that was undertaken at Anfield, with only a victory today somewhat justifying the call – although many will still feel aggrieved.

Michail Antonio is edging closer to a return following a knee injury, which has kept the striker out of action for over a month – however he is now back in training so close to a return.

A question mark hangs over the goalkeeper situation, with Alphonse Areola appearing to be losing his place as the first choice goalkeeper, following some positive displays from Lukasz Fabianski.

A sickness bug has again affected the squad, although Nayef Aguerd and Max Cornet could return to the side.

Victor Lindelof, Diogo Dalot, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro and Mason Mount are missing for the visitors, although Bruno Fernandes is available for Erik ten Hag.

Todays match kicks off at 12:30pm and is being shown live on TNT Sports 1 & TNT Sports Ultimate.
