Arsenal are the team feeling the pressure tonight as West Ham look to disrupt their title chase in north London tonight.

Our Hammers take on the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium tonight, following an impressive win over Manchester United at the weekend, although there is an expectation that Mikel Arteta’s side will prove a stern test for West Ham.

The West Ham Way Podcast hosts Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee have both given their thoughts ahead of the game, with the feeling that it is Arsenal who will be feeling the pressure, with David Moyes’ side sitting well in the Premier League thus far.

“It’s a big game for both clubs tonight, but the pressure is definitely with Arsenal as a win takes them back to the top of the league,” stated Walker. “It’s gonna be a tough night for our full backs, as they have a lot of pace and skill on the wings.

“Alvarez also has a big part to play – stopping that final third penetration. If we can manage their attacking play and effectively counter, we have a decent chance.”

Ex though isn’t as optimistic, with the belief that it will be a big ask for our Hammers to walk away with something from the clash later tonight.

“This is a really tough game and one of the few a season I don’t feel optimistic about,” said our club insider. “The key is to get at them and attack, because if we sit back and try and absorb it I think we will come undone.

“Hopefully our attacking three will be on fire again and we can get something but it’s a big ask.”
