West Ham could let a highly rated youngster go out on loan with a duo of Championship clubs interested.

The current group of U21s and U18s at West Ham contains some of the most exciting prospects in England. There are so many players in the academy that could go on to have brilliant careers, and they have proven their ability over the past two seasons.

Fans had been hopeful that Divin Mubama in particular was going to hit the ground running in the first team. He looked like he could have been the answer to their long term striker woes but, as of right now, he has not really found his feet at the highest level.

Unfortunately, he has not seized the few opportunities he has had to prove himself, and some believe a loan is the best option for him right now. If he can get experience in the lower leagues it could give him that little bit of growth that he needs.

However, the current state of the squad due to injuries and AFCON has led David Moyes eager to keep hold of Mubama. It seems unlikely that he will be allowed to go out on loan unless another forward is purchased. On top of this, the club are desperate to give the youngster an extension of his current contract which is set to expire in the Summer and him not being there for discussions makes things much more difficult.

According to The Mail, Sunderland and West Brom have shown an interest, with Everton lurking in the event that he does not sign a new deal.

There is no doubt that Mubama has potential to be an absolutely incredible player. The talent he possesses is unbelievable, he just needs that experience at a professional level in order to be ready for the Premier League.
