West Ham are understood to be in discussions with Arsenal over the potential loan move for Emile Smith Rowe, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

As has been reported previously, the club are looking to strengthen the squad over this current January transfer window and the Gunners midfielder has now emerged as a potential target.

The club were in dialogue with Arsenal over the availability of Reiss Nelson, and during these talks Smith Rowe has come to light as the club now explore a potential loan move.

It is understood that David Moyes is an admirer of Smith Rowe, and the fact he is also a home grown player makes him more attractive too to West Ham.

“There was some internet in Reiss Nelson of Arsenal although he seems reluctant to leave, during these discussions another Arsenal midfielder in Emile Smith-Rowe came up and as now emerged as a target,” reported Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

At this stage it is not known whether the player would be keen on a switch across London, however talks are ongoing over the potential loan move.

In other news, the club are also keen on highly rated striker Antonio Nusa, it has been exclusively revealed by our club insider Ex, with it at this stage possibly one to keep an eye on.

“Antonio Nusa is another exciting forward on a lot of clubs radars including Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea although they haven’t appeared to have made a move this January with only really Brentford and Fulham being credited with any concrete interest this window,” stated Ex.

“The Norwegian international player we have watched play for Club Brugge a few times and one that we are continuing to track.”
