West Ham are likely to have key players back available for our match against Bournemouth next week, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

David Moyes’ side have suffered a somewhat crisis in terms of player availability in recent weeks, with Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen, Edson Alvarez and Michail Antonio all picking up injuries.

The issue was further compounded with the absence of Mohammed Kudus, who had to depart for the AFCON tournament with Ghana, which they have now been subsequently eliminated from at the group stage.

The exit of Ghana, which has seen boss Chris Hughton sacked from his role, will mean that Kudus is expected to be back in the squad for our return to action next Thursday night against the Cherries.

In another positive boost for our Hammers, it’s understood at this stage that Edson Alvarez suffered a minor injury which saw him miss out on the Sheffield United match at the weekend, with the Mexican international also likely to be available at this stage.

There is still question marks lingering over the fitness of Lucas Paqueta, with the playmaker currently still recovering from a thigh injury.

Our club insider was originally advised it was likely to be a month until his return, so at this stage there is an outside chance Paqueta could be available, although that cannot be confirmed at this stage.

There is also hope that Michail Antonio will soon be available for selection again, following a setback on his recovery from a knee injury.

West Ham are also at this stage likely to hand a debut for Kalvin Phillips next Thursday at the London Stadium, with the England midfielder set to sign a loan deal until the end of the season, with an option to buy.
