West Ham are in talks to sign highly rated winger Ibrahim Osman, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

As was exclusively broke by our Podcast co-host and club insider Ex early in the transfer window, the club have been impressed with the Ghanaian and are set to compete for his signature this January.

Osman, who currently plies his trade at Danish side Nordsjælland, is a product of Ghana’s ‘Right to Dream’ Academy, the same from which Mohammed Kudus graduated from earlier in his career.

It’s understood that our Hammers’ recruitment panel have been highly impressed by Osman, and have decided to back this up by making now a formal move for the player.

The West Ham Way reported earlier in January that the likes of Arsenal and Brighton held a strong interest in the highly-rated 19 year old, however it appears our Hammers are now leading the chase.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, Ex has now provided a further update, stating that the club are in talks and there is hope that a deal can be struck. “Talks are progressing with Ibrahim Osman’s club over a permanent deal,” said our club insider.

“The Ghanaian is highly rated and has impressed West Ham‘s recruitment team for a while.

“Talks will continue over the new few days to try and get the deal done.”

Ex will be keeping fans fully up to date on the situation as it develops, on The West Ham Way Patreon.
