Yet another London club are reportedly looking to hijack a deal for Ibrahim Osman after West Ham’s talks have stalled.

While there is still some glimmer of hope, it seems highly unlikely that West Ham will sign Ibrahim Osman this window. A complicated agent situation coupled with a high asking price means that the Hammers have been put off of signing the Ghanaian.

Surprisingly though, as it stands, these do not seem to have been issues for other clubs with Tottenham Hotspur being linked with a move recently. To add insult to injury, it is not just Spurs interested though, as Arsenal are now prepared to pounce according to Football Insider.

Osman apparently turned down Brentford and Brighton in order to move to East London and that sort of desire is not something the Hammers should pass up on. Fortunately talks are still on going at this stage it doesn’t look good from a West Ham perspective.

If they are to lose out on their number 1 target to bitter rivals, it will be a real kick in the teeth for fans as well as everyone who was involved in negotiations.

There is no doubt that Osman will go on to be a great player but what heights he will reach remain to be seen. Over the years there have been countless players our Irons have regretted not signing, but this could be the one they loathe themselves for not pushing through.
