West Ham have been offered the chance to sign a highly rated French right-back.

Marseille have had their fair share of issues with players who have a bad attitude, and for some reason West Ham seemingly can not get enough of them.

Obviously there is Dimitri Payet who apparently forced a move from Marseille to West Ham to then force a move back there a year and a half later. Now, according to L’Equipe, the Hammers have been offered the chance to sign right-back Jonathan Clauss.

Clauss’ loyalties have been questioned as he allegedly faked an injury in order to come off against Monaco. The French side believe that he is more focused on making Les Blues squad for the Euros rather than doing his best for the club.

Unsurprisingly, this does not sound like the sort of player that David Moyes would want at West Ham. We all know how big he is on character and that sort of attitude would not run under him.

However, ability wise, their is no doubts that he would be a great signing. You do have to question though if a right-back should be a position we need to add to given that Johnson and Coufal are both in good form.
