West Ham today take on Everton at Goodison Park looking to continue the improvement following a poor start to 2024.

David Moyes’ side were in much better form when hosting Brentford on Monday night, which produced a morale boosting win which all will be hoping is the start of a return to much better form.

Everton require a win too, with the club once again in the midst of a battle to remain in the top flight, but there is hope West Ham will have too much for the blue side of Merseyside.

Speaking ahead of the game, our Podcast hosts Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee both agreed that this is a hugely important game for our Hammers.

“We have to approach this game in the same way we approached Brentford,” stated Walker. “We are a better side than them so if we turn up today we should get a result.”

Ex agreed, stating that’s it’s important for the club to keep a positive momentum as we head into a crucial states of the season.

“Today is a massive game as always because we have to build on Mondays win,” said our club insider. “I were the manager I would go with the exact same team with the exact same instructions in the hope we can repeat the performance. Phillips will obviously be back but he goes on the bench for me now.”
