West Ham tonight take on SC Freiburg in the 1st leg of the last-16 stage of the Europa League in Germany.

David Moyes has already stated that the poor run of form from the turn of the year has now passed, with confidence amongst the players that they are able to get the job done against our German opponents over the 2 legs.

Freiburg are a side that West Ham have overcome twice already this season, both home and away in the Group stage, so that certainly gives belief that we have enough, although its expected to be an intense atmosphere to in Germany tonight.

David Moyes is gifted with strong squad availability tonight, with only Max Cornet ruled out, as the player has not travelled while he recovers from a muscle injury.

The manager though has said that Nayeg Aguerd is a doubt, so it’ll be interesting to see if Kurt Zouma is played or whether the manager opts to go for Angelo Ogbonna instead.

Lukasz Fabianski is expected to be recalled to the side, despite the excellent form of Alphonse Areola.

Youngsters Lewis Orford, Kaelan Casey, George Earthy and Kamari Swyer have been called up to the squad which does suggest there could be some rotation.

Tonights match kicks off at 8pm and is being shown live on TNT Sports 2.
