West Ham are reportedly set to make a move for an out of contract, Premier League centre-back this Summer.

It is no secret that West Ham’s central defenders have been extremely disappointing as of late. Nayef Aguerd has never found his feet in the Premier League, Kurt Zouma’s repeated knee injuries have finally caught up to him and, while he has been the best of the three recently, Mavropanos still has mistakes in him.

Therefore, it should come as no surprise that the Hammers are keen to sign a top-quality centre-back as soon as possible. To do that, you would expect that they would have to spend a large amount of their transfer budget but, thankfully, this may not be the case as, according to GIVEMESPORT, the East London side are interested in signing Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer.

The Fulham defender has been sensational this season, boasting impressive defensive and passing stats. Marco Silva’s side has seemingly failed to get the Englishman to sign a new contract which would allow the Irons to sign him for absolutely nothing.

Unsurprisingly, West Ham are set to face stiff competition for his signature as AC Milan, Tottenham, Roma and many others are also monitoring his situation.

If Tim Steitden can convince him to move to the London Stadium, there is no doubt that he will be a sensational signing for our Irons. Premier League experienced, 6’5 and a real presence on the pitch – he could be exactly the player we need to sort our defensive problems out.
