A journalist has claimed that West Ham are not “anywhere near” the stage of looking at replacements for David Moyes.

The Moyes in vs Moyes out debate still rages on despite it being obvious that no decision is going to be made at present. While everyone is entitled to voice their opinion, the constant bickering from those on the extreme ends of the debate had grown tiring for majority of fans,

Unfortunately, it does not seem like this will stop anytime soon and probably will not until the end of the season when the club make their decision on his future. However, recent comments from Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge may have given us an insight into which whey they are leaning.

Essentially, there are managers that Tim Steidten likes, but they are not at the stage where they are actively considering replacements. “Tim Steidten, from my understanding a while ago, actually likes Oliver Glasner and he was mentioned with a couple of other options,” Bridge told GIVEMESPORT.

“But, from my information, I don’t think they are anywhere near thinking about alternatives at the moment. Moyes has got a good relationship with the board, but he might actually get to a stage where he thinks he has had enough.”

“There have been so many ups and downs this season. There are the high points, like winning away at Arsenal, but then they lost heavily to Arsenal at home. West Ham are still in Europe, and Moyes’ record in those competitions has been immense.”

At this moment in time, it is nearly impossible to predict how the season will finish. West Ham have an incredibly tough run in the Europa League as well as in the Premier League, but they seem to do better in these games. It really is anyone’s guess as to whether Moyes will be given an extension – he might not even choose to sign it.
