David Moyes has been urged to go all out for the win tonight against bitter rivals Spurs at the London Stadium.

West Ham host the north Londoners in the Premier League tonight in what is expected to be a hotly contested affair, with a long standing history of epic encounters in the past.

Moyes’ side came away with all 3 points when we faced Spurs in the reverse fixture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier in the season, so there is hope our Irons can produce another winning display.

The manager though, especially following the capitulation at the weekend against Newcastle, has been urged to not be too defensive and attack our rivals from the off.

That is the view of The West Ham Way Podcast host Dave Walker, who added that the rivalry is enough for the players to be hungry for the victory tonight.

“We shouldn’t need any motivation for this game tonight,” stated Walker. “The fixture speaks for itself. However, if we want to have a chance of qualifying for Europe again then these are the games we need to win, especially after throwing it away at Newcastle.

“I hope Moyes is brave with his approach to this game, he needs to be. We can’t sit back against Tottenham and we have the quality to hurt them going forward.”

His co-host and club insider ExWHUEmployee agreed, and feels tonight is the perfect opportunity for the club to get things back in place for a positive end to this season.

“A massive game today as always against them lot,” stated Ex. “A positive result today gets our season back on track and could be the catalyst for what we need to finish strongly.

“I hope we start attacking and we continue to attack through out the game because that is our strength and not our defending.”
