West Ham today take on Crystal Palace in South London as we look to make a final push and achieve qualification to European football next season.

Our Hammers this week exited the Europa League at the hand of unbeaten German side Bayer Leverkusen, and the pressure is now on to make what is left of this campaign a success – which would be to obtain a place on the European stage for a 4th consecutive campaign.

Recent results in the Premier League have seen David Moyes’ side drop vital points in the race for Europe, so many are hoping that a line can now be drawn, with a full focus on getting the points we need for a positive conclusion.

The test today is a trip to Selhurst Park, with the hosts coming off the back of a morale boosting win at Liverpool last week, to boost their chances of survival significantly.

Ahead of the game today, our Podcast co-host and club insider ExWHUEmployee has called this a must-win for Moyes’ side, if we are to stand a chance to obtaining a place in European competition next season.

“Another massive game and one we need to win if we are to get back into Europe through the league,” stated Ex. “Palace are a decent side but we should be able to beat them and a rested Emerson and Paqueta could be key.

“Of course we need to see how Antonio and Bowen are after an intense game on Thursday and Bowen needing injections to get through. We always tend to do quite well at Palace so I am hopeful of another result.”
