West Ham are reportedly interested in appointing a manager with an impressive list of honours to his name.

As obvious as it may sound, it can not be understated how vital it is that West Ham get their next managerial appointment spot on. With it looking like David Moyes’ time at the London Stadium is coming to an end, they need a new manager to guide them through this tricky period.

Not only are expectations sky high after three consecutive years of European football, but a massive rebuild is needed due to the minuscule squad that the Hammers have – whoever takes over has an extremely tricky job on their hands.

On the whole, the names that the club are being linked with look quite optimistic and have given fans hope that the right man will be appointed.

A number of names have been thrown about but, according to Jack Rosser, Hansi Flick could be someone West Ham pursue. The German manager has been out of a job since last year after being in charge of his national team for two years. His time may not have been a success there, but international football is completely different to managing at club level.

Speaking of which, he had an excellent record at Bayern Munich, winning 7 trophies in two years and losing only 7 games during that time.

While he may not be fan’s first choice, he would certainly be a brilliant appointment. He is someone that has the experience to take the club on to the next level and get the fans behind him. Unfortunately, a number of bigger clubs, including Barcelona, are said to be interested in him making it extremely difficult for West Ham to convince him to join.
