West Ham are lining up a trip abroad this summer, it has been revealed by ExWHUEmployee.

The West Ham Way Podcast co-host and famed ITK revealed on Patreon that at this stage a tour of the USA is looking a probable option, although Australia, South Korea, China or Japan could be destinations.

Ex revealed that David Moyes is not a huge fan of long trips for pre-season but the club feel it would be beneficial, and of course there are currently question marks over the manager’s long term future.

“At the moment though the most likely destination seems to be the USA,” stated our man-in-the-know.

”There has been talks of 6 teams from the PL going over to to play in 2 leagues of 3 teams and then into a knockout stage. These fixtures will be across multiple cities in the USA.

”David Moyes is said to be against long distance tours but there is every chance he might not be in the manager in the summer and even if he is the club really feel that it is in our long term benefit to develop our overseas brand, especially in a country where the love of English football is really accelerated.

“Of course the West Ham Way is very excited at this potential prospect and we hope where ever the chosen venue is to put on an event in that country and city to coincide with the tour.

“It appears that talks have also happened for a game or two in Australia and the same in Singapore. Potential opponents could include PSG and Munich.

”As said though this all early talks and the club will take into account a number of factors before deciding.”
