West Ham today face Chelsea in a London derby at home with David Moyes looking to build on the momentum gained since the turn of the new year.

Our Hammers face off against an indifferent Blues side who seem a club in significant transition, with Graham Potter’s side struggling for consistency, especially in front of goal.

West Ham on the other hand have seen confidence levels rise in recent weeks having seen a positive turn in performances and results since the start of 2023, with only one defeat recorded in the six played in all competitions.

The visit of Chelsea provides another stern test for Moyes to demonstrate that this so-far difficult campaign is on the turn in East London, with many hoping for another performance on par of what was put on display last time out in the hard-fought draw with Newcastle at St James’ Park.

Despite the rumours, ExWHUEmployee has confirmed that both Gianluca Scamacca and Kurt Zouma are still not yet ready to return and will not make the squad, as is for Max Cornet and Alphone Areola.

Thilo Kehrer however is set to have a late fitness test and could well be in the side today to take on the West Londoners.

Joao Felix is available again for Graham Potter following his suspension, although Raheem Sterling is a doubt still while he recovers from injury.

Mateo Kovacic, Wesley Fofana and Denis Zakaria are all expected to miss out too despite making progress on their respective injury recoveries.

Todays match kicks off at 12:30pm and is being show live on BT Sport 1 & BT Sport Ultimate.
