It has been widely reported that Chelsea could potentially ground share the London Stadium when the Blues are working on their new stadium, with ExWHUEmployee providing an update.

West Ham are the main tenants of the former Olympic Stadium venue in Stratford, with speculation that our Hammers could look to purchase outright in the future with the ongoing losses to the taxpayer the venue is generating.

However there have been further reports also that West Ham’s home ground is also being eyed by Chelsea as a temporary home while construction works are carried out on their new home – for as long as 4 seasons.

Our man-in-the-know Ex however has reported that this is highly unlikely despite reports, with the club also firmly against the suggestion with Chelsea a fierce London rival.

“There has been a lot of talk from various outlets that Chelsea could move to the London Stadium when they’re working on their new ground.

“The club do not want this to happen and all I can say is that this stage it is highly unlikely.”
