West Ham have held positive talks with Southampton over the possible signing of James Ward-Prowse this summer, ExWHUEmployee has reported.

Our Hammers have been heavily linked with a move for the Saints’ captain for some time, with Ex reporting throughout the window that David Moyes is a huge admirer of the set-piece and free-kick specialist.

Our club insider reported on The West Ham Way Patreon last night that discussions were taking place between both Southampton and West Ham, and that a verbal offer would be made in the hope that an agreement might be found.

It has now been exclusively revealed by Ex that the talks have been positive and there is now belief that a deal could well be struck that sees the England international move to East London this summer.

“It seems like talks with JWP have gone quite well and the club have been given positive indications that a deal could be obtained,” reported our Podcast co-host on Patreon.

Ex & The West Ham Way will be keeping fans fully up to date with the facts surrounding the potential transfer and all other possible deals on Patreon first & foremost.
