West Ham are making progress in securing a new deal for Jarrod Bowen, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

Our Hammers winger, who famously scored the late winner in the Europa Conference League final earlier this year, is regarded as a key player at the club and one we want to secure the long term services of.

The departure of Declan Rice this summer has been a tough one to take for all connected with the club, so it is seen as vitally important that the likes of Jarrod Bowen are now retained as the club looks to build as we enter our 3rd consecutive season with European football.

It was reported back in June by Ex that the club were set to hold talks over a new deal this summer, and it is understood now that progress has been made with hope that a deal could well be struck soon.

“The club are holding talks with Jarrod Bowen over a new contract,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Podcast.

“Talks are continuing, although we understand there are still negotiations taking place with a gap existing currently between both parties over wages.”

Following the recent agreement reached with Tomas Soucek over a new 4-year deal, it is hoped that Bowen will soon follow, in what would be a huge boost for everyone at West Ham.

Ex will be keeping fans up to date on the progress of the talks and all other club matters on Patreon.
