West Ham are eager to tie down Jarrod Bowen to a new long term contract, with ExWHUEmployee providing an update.

The Hammers winger, who scored the winning goal to secure our Hammers our first European trophy since 1965, currently has 2 years left on his current deal and the club want to reward one of our most important assets with a new deal.

It is widely known that the former Hull City man is settled well into life in East London, with Bowen and his partner Dani Dyer – daughter of famed Irons fan Danny Dyer – welcoming twins into their family.

Danny Dyer, who recently appeared for an exclusive interview on The West Ham Way Patreon, disclosed how close the family unit is with Bowen very much at the heart of it.

“He’s a lovely boy,” said the former EastEnders actor. “He and Dani come over on Friday for a Chinese takeaway, with Jarrod obviously eating sensibly.

“I couldn’t ask for anyone better to be with my daughter – and it’s even better that he plays for West Ham!”

The club now want to secure Bowen for the long term, with Ex revealing on Patreon that a lucrative offer is to be tabled with the hope from the hierarchy that this can be sorted swiftly.

“Negotiations will start this summer with the club hoping an agreement can be reached soon. It’ll be a long term offer which will see a big improvement on his current contract.”

Ex will be keeping fans up to date on the progress of the deal and other club matters on Patreon.
