West Ham are continuing talks with Sevilla over the possible signing of Youssef En-Nesyri, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

As was stated yesterday by Ex, our Hammers have made both Mohammed Kudus and En-Nesyri key targets, with talks for the former progressing in the hope a deal can be reached soon.

Discussions will also continue for the Moroccan striker En-Nesyri, with Ex reporting that his current club Sevilla have financial issues and are therefore open to selling if the right offer is made.

“I was with one of the intermediaries involved in finding the Moroccan international a new club when I went to the under 21 game at Arsenal,” reported Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon. “He explained that Sevilla are in a poor state financially and that every one of their players will be considered for sales if the right offer comes in.

“He said he has already spoken with Spurs about the player, however it seems now West Ham have shown interest again.

“Sevilla are in the Champions League next season so he may wish to stay, but if the club put a case to him that they financially need him to move then he may do it for them.

“Nayef Aguerd will be an interesting character in this, because as a fellow compatriot he has a strong position to persuade him to join should he feel he has enjoyed his time at the club.

“Interestingly Sevilla have been linked with a move for Pablo Fornals, and as said it isn’t thought that they have the money to sign the player outright. Maybe he could be considered as part of the deal if indeed there is interest in the player.”

Ex has also further reported that a loan with an option to buy is also being discussed with the Spanish side, as West Ham look to progress talks with the hope a deal can be concluded.

“The club seem to prefer a loan move for the forward they go for, including En-Nesyri,” added Ex.

“There is a fear after recent examples that some forwards who cannot settle, so they wish to minimise the risk by loaning the player first.

“En-Nesyri is an example of this with a loan to buy the preferred deal. Sevilla‘s finances however may not allow this and they may prefer only to sell. Negotiations will continue.”

Ex will keep fans up to date on the progress of the talks with both En-Nesyri and Kudus as they develop on Patreon.
