West Ham produced an excellent away performance to beat Brighton and go top of the Premier League.

It was the first league win over the Seagulls since their promotion in 2017, and it was done in style as our Hammers remain unbeaten this season so far.

We were ahead just before the 20 minute mark when James Ward-Prowse fired in his first goal after excellent work from Michail Antonio.

Brighton had much of the possession but West Ham were ruthless and incredibly well organised as the hosts struggled to carve out opportunities.

Much continued after the break as Moyes’ side continued to look menacing, and then on 58 minutes the lead was doubled, as Bowen was on the end of a stunning counter attack to poke the ball home in style.

Then 5 minutes later it was party time when Antonio made it 3 with an excellent strike following some strong play once again.

Brighton pulled one back through Gross and Areola pulled off some excellent saves to secure a stunning win to continue West Ham’s unbelievable start to the Premier League season.

ExWHUEmployee was understandably thrilled with the win after the match.
