West Ham today face Brighton on the south coast following a positive start for both sides to the Premier League season.

The hosts currently occupy top spot in the league table having won the opening 2 fixtures convincingly, while our Hammers are unbeaten and are coming of the back of an excellent London derby win over Chelsea last weekend.

The promising starts for both sides indicates that this is expected to be an exciting encounter, although it will be our Hammers who will be eager to end the long wait of beating the Seagulls – as we now enter our 6th season of so far failing to do so.

David Moyes has a selection dilemma today, with both Angelo Ogbonna and Thilo Kehrer (who is available after recovering from a neck injury) vying to replace the suspended Nayef Aguerd.

The boss also has to decide whether to give Edson Alvarez his first start in a Hammers shiry, having impressed when coming off the bench last weekend against Chelsea.

Julio Enciso is unavailable for the host today, whilst Evan Ferguson has been confirmed to be in the starting 11 today.

The match kicks off at 5:30pm and is being shown live on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League & Sky Sports Ultra HDR.
