West Ham have confirmed Kurt Zouma as captain of the club, with ExWHUEmployee sharing his thoughts on the news.

Zouma, who headed to east London back in 2021, has been captaining the side so far in this impressive start to the campaign – and has now been confirmed as the new leader by David Moyes.

The Frenchman has displayed outstanding leadership qualities, which in turn has helped West Ham kick off the season with 3 wins and a draw from the opening 4 matches played.

ExWHUEmployees has stated his delight in the appointment, feeling that the players experience at winning can only serve as a real positive as we look to kick on and challenge the elite in all competitions this season.

“Following a great start to the season, I think it’s a good choice to continue with Kurt Zouma as the captain,” said the Podcast co-host and club insider.

“He is a well liked member of the squad and has plenty of experience of winning things with France and Chelsea, so hopefully he can lead us into further successes.

“We will obviously need to hope that he avoids any more injuries so that he can continue the role for the whole of the season.”

The West Ham Way are delighted that Zouma has now been named captain, and look forward to see him delivering success for our club in the role.
