The West Ham Way are excited to announce that we have secured an exclusive interview with former manager Slaven Bilic.

The former player and boss for our Hammers, who is now managing Saudi Pro-League side Al-Fateh, departed West Ham as manager back in 2017 – the year we made the move from our beloved Boleyn Ground to the London Stadium.

He oversaw the incredible final season in Upton Park – rightly ‘Farewell Boleyn’, where West Ham finished 7th in the Premier League and famously beat Manchester United 3-2 in the final game under the floodlights – a moment that will live on forever in our history.

Since his departure from east London, Bilic has gone on to manage a few clubs including Watford and West Bromwich Albion, with whom he worked alongside former player and club legend Julian Dicks.

Bilic now has given an exclusive interview with The West Ham Way, which will be posted on our Patreon site later today, with ExWHUEmployee understandably delighted to have secured our former boss and admits he opens up on many big moments in his time at the club.

“This is an interview that we have been trying to get for ages now and we are buzzing to have got this over the line,” admitted Ex.

“Slaven was an absolute gentleman as you would expect and answered all questions so truthfully and honestly. He opens up on big moments on his time at the club, including the controversial exit of Dimitri Payet and much more.

“This is a not to miss interview for West Ham fans and just part of the big package we offer fans on The West Ham Way Patreon.”
