West Ham are expected to sanction further loan and possibly permanent departures from our Academy this transfer window, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

Its expected to be a busy few days across the football landscape as the January window draws to a close on Thursday, a day in which West Ham will be hosting Bournemouth in the Premier League at the London Stadium.

The club are still continuing to look to strengthen the squad further, following the arrival of Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City on loan, with our Podcast co-host and club insider Ex keeping fans fully up to date on the progress of all dealings on The West Ham Way Patreon.

Reporting on the Podcast this week, Ex has shed light on possible departures from our Academy, which has already seen Callum Marshall head to West Bromwich Albion on loan for the remainder of the season – not before penning a new contract in east London though.

“There are expected to be further loan exits for some of our Academy players,” stated Ex on the Podcast. “Regan Clayton is understood to have strong interest from Barnsley, whilst Levi Laing has also attracted the attention of Doncaster.

“We also understand that Luizao has interest from a host of Brazilian clubs, and it could well be that the club sanction a permanent sale for the defender.

“Also, Kaelan Casey and George Earthy are potentially heading out on loan, which would enable them to continue their development and gain first team senior football.”
