West Ham have been linked with a move for serial winner as Moyes’ replacement, but it may not be what it seems.

Whether it’s this Summer or not, West Ham have a monstrous task on their hands when it comes to replacing David Moyes. It’s an appointment they can not afford to mess up and it will leave them with quite the dilemma.

The main issue will be whether they should stick with a manager who plays a similar style of football to Moyes, or whether they need to try something completely different. If they go with the former, there are surely few bigger names than Jose Mourinho.

Except for Tottenham, the veteran manager has won a trophy wherever he’s gone. He has more experience at the very top than almost any manager in the world, yet the idea of appointing him is not one West Ham fans would be too pleased with. Unfortunately for them, teamTALK have reported that he is a potential successor for the Scotsman.

Thankfully though, there seems to be little truth to these rumours. The West Ham Way’s own ExWHUEmployee has stated on a number of occasions that there is no interest whatsoever in appointing Mourinho.

Obviously, that is no way an indication that the club will not try to bring in a defensive manager, but it is rather Mourinho specifically that they are not fans of.
